Writing style differences are apparent from chapter to chapter which are handled by different contributing authors. The author's appendix summarizing pharmacology is fantastic.I love continuing my education in any way possible, and this book has been a great way to do just that. It is easy to navigate and has way more info than I expected. I would recommend this to any Veterinary Technician who wants a great guide to emergency and critical care.I would just advise careful reading as I have noticed some mistakes. The Critical Care Pharmacology chapter is great, but there are 2 mistakes in the medical calculation section, a Glyco dose answer is incorrect, and one should use subtraction not multiplication in a fluid additive question on step 1, p 427. Overall though, a very good text.Covering all topics in just the right level of depth, not too scanty but then not too involved and 'vetty' either. The online extra material is great too, case studies and revision questions. The book also has great visual aids. Highly recommend, especially if studying for an ECC exam.A must have for the student interested in Emergency Veterinary care. With corrections, would be a good textPage 1 of 1 Start over Page 1 of 1 Previous page Next page.
